What is human trafficking?

Human trafficking is defined by Anti-Slavery International as “the use of violence, threats, or compulsion to transport, recruit, or harbor persons in order to exploit them for financial or personal benefit. This can involve being coerced into prostitution, labor, crime, marriage, or organ harvesting. Trafficking may not always involve crossing international borders.

On YumyHub, human trafficking is not accepted and is not supported. To detect and prevent any attempt to utilize YumyHub for this purpose, we put in place a number of technologies, policies, and procedures. Additionally, we make an effort to have high expectations for both our suppliers and workers. Employees who violate our standards may face disciplinary action, including termination of employment. Any infraction by a supplier may lead to contract termination.

Additionally, creators and fans are not anonymous on YumyHub. End-to-end encryption is not utilized by YumyHub. Our group of skilled reviewers can see anything on the platform. There aren’t any “secret” regions, “hidden” posts, or communications that vanish. Any content shared on YumyHub, including direct messages, is always subject to approval. This means that we can recognize and report anyone who appears to be involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.

We identify any users who attempt to engage in modern slavery and human trafficking on our platform, report them to law enforcement and NGOs, and ban them from YumyHub.

Does the YumyHub membership model encourage modern-day slavery or human trafficking?

No. Our subscription-based business model makes it more challenging for individuals to participate in modern slavery and human trafficking.

Users must pass our rigorous identity verification procedures in order to subscribe to content or post content on YumyHub. This means that, in contrast to many other digital media platforms, we are aware of the true identities of every one of our users. On YumyHub, anonymous posting is prohibited.

YumyHub users are less likely to attempt to engage in modern slavery and human trafficking since they are not anonymous and because we do not have end to end encryption.
